This song is so powerful. I could listen to it forever. I’ve been wanting to sing to someone and if I ever find that one guy that I can sing to, I will sing this song to him. I need someone to serenade. Odd coming from a woman, but I really want to sing to someone. Powerful song.

So many new great albums this year! Although this song is fairly short, I adore every minute of it. Folk music pumps me up and I just get going through the day. The Lumineers are great. This album is beautifully made. So much color to the music.

After 3 to four long years, my favorite artist, MIKA, has finally released a new album and I’m far from disappointed. It’s beyond anything I expected. Popular Song is a twist to Wicked’s Popular, which I adore. I listened this for weeks. Although, the album recently came out this past week in America, it has been out to the world for a good month now. This song brings me happiness when I listen to it and it shows through my actions and attitude. The whole album has a variety of different ranges of songs, highly recommended.

One of the most touching and beautiful songs I have ever heard. Personally knowing many loving same sex couples, this was really beyond touching. Just to think about the situation they’re under and what they’re restricted to do in life is saddening. They are oppressed as much as minority is. These couples love and care for each other more than any heterosexual couples I know. They’re true and honest and are beyond kind to each other. Most people need to learn from these relationships. “No freedom until we’re equal.” Tears flowed nonstop when I first listened to this. Mary Lambert’s voice is just pleasantly wonderful. I don’t want her to stop singing. This song is wonderful.

I adore singing along to this song. Numerous covers have been made and posted in youtube and everyone’s different take on it is just wonderful to listen to. The acoustic covers of this song is pleasant to listen to, it makes me want to learn how to play it.

Introduced to me a couple of weeks ago by a friend during training. A nice little tune for late night like these. Enjoy!

I heard a slower version of this song by this artist earlier and immediately I told myself “this is going to play on my wedding.” Spotify doesn’t have it but once I discover the perfect version (there’s so many), that will definitely be used. I know some people might think it’s silly to plan your wedding early (especially when the other half has not arrived yet), but I have a theory. My theory is to plan everything out so when the moment comes, there will be no stress and you can get married as soon as possible and start the next chapter of your lives without delay. But…that’s just a theory. No one knows the future. No one can plan it. But we can dream about it.

Another song that would be used if any of my work becomes a film. Or anything at all. Sometimes I have way too much imagination in my head but not everything comes out into the open. If only I could find a faster way to take everything and just put it in an organized place. Excellent song.

I finally fully understand why Stephanie Meyer placed a playlist in the end of her novels. If any of my work ever gets published or became a film, this song would definitely be in it. I could already see it in my head. The scenes…and this song.

We could all use a little old school mystery song on a Wednesday night.

More spontaneous music discovery. Because of that, there’s not much to say. However, the cover art of this album is marvelous. Randomly thought of that one book series (it’s bothering me that I can’t remember the title) where the children go to their tree house that takes them to another world and a new adventure.

Another spontaneous discovery. It was an ad, clicked on it, clicked on the first song, liked it.

Tyler Oakley introduced me to her and my goodness, so young and her voice is so genuine and amazing. This song is for every girl out there who loves someone for who they are. Not for the man’s looks, not for what everyone says about him, but for the true person that he is. I love it.

Here’s the French song for the day. I discovered this through one of the lovely blogs I follow. I still wish I could speak and understand French, but other than my interest in it, there is no use for it in the area I live. I’m still trying to learn, though to really learn you have to practice with someone and I don’t know many French speakers that well. Someday.

You can never go wrong by listening to John Lennon. John and Yoko’s relationship is something to be admired. Together, their adoration for each other was endless. They both posses warm hearts with their campaign for peace. I wonder what ever happened to their son.
